Long Lost Blog

Well I moved over a year ago, and with that move I lost my email account which I needed to get into my blog, so I have now discovered a way in once again and can start adding to my blog page. I love my new house, but here on Camano Island you either live in an area with internet or not. I am thankful for frontier that they are now offering internet to my area!!!

This is a beautiful little girl that I have been able to photograph now for three years. This year we did a fun session with one of our bunnies. She looked so bright and cheery that I thought I would share this one.

We have rabbits all year round, and usually a few litters of rabbits through out the years, so if you are interested in a portrait with a bunny, let me know. Daffodil Fields

Earlier this month I went up to the daffodil fields up in Skagit Valley. I am always amazed by the beautiful colors and how perfectly straight they get the rows. This was one of my favorites from the day. Very fun session and look forward to photographing up there again next year.

I have purchased the mascara. It feels a little rubbery, but honestly does not come off, but when it is washed off it comes off clean- no black residue left around the eye. I can't wait to try it swimming! Thought I would post for brides or others that are interested in a new type of mascara.

Lauren Lukehart is a cosmetologist on Camano Island. Lauren does beautiful hair and makeup for wedding parties, or just for one on location for your special event. Her prices start at $55.00 for hair and $45.00 for makeup. However if you have 4 or more in your party you will get a great deal on hair at just $35.00 each. This also includes a consultation before the big day. From a photographer's standpoint I think this really can make a difference in how your portraits turn out. Makeup done too heavy can overpower your features, and too light won't highlight them enough. So consider having this luxury done as a special treat for your bridal party. You'll be glad you did! I was photographing a beautiful wedding and to my delight an espresso bar was open to all. VIP Espresso Catering was behind the tasty drinks. What a great alternative for guest and vendors who do not want drink alcohol or sugary juice. By far this has been one of my favorite surprises to find at a wedding. They were there from the beginning until the party came to a close.
